Sin: The Meaning

Sin (as used here) is not merely breaking external rules or failing moral tests.
It is a deeper fracture — a disconnection from the relational design of life itself.

At its heart, sin is separation from trust, love, and freedom — the very forces that sustain real life.
It is turning inward in fear, self-protection, pride, or control, cutting ourselves off from the flow of God’s sustaining presence.

Sin is not primarily about bad behavior.
Behaviors are symptoms.
Sin is the state of being out of resonance with God’s design.

In the beginning, humanity was created to live in unbroken trust, dependence, and relational union with God.
Sin entered not when a rule was broken, but when trust was severed — when distortion replaced connection.

Sin always leads to death, not because God imposes punishment, but because life cannot thrive when cut off from its Source.

In this work, sin means living out of alignment with the relational design of love and trust that God embedded into reality.
It is dissonance made visible.

Healing from sin is not about appeasing an angry God.
It is about being restored — about returning to the flow of life, where trust and love are not just ideas, but the very air you breathe again.
